Hello friends! I hope that your Holiday weekend was filled

We had a blessed Christmas.
We had a wonderful opportunity this year to spend
our Christmas weekend with my family at the
Gran Ventana Beach Resort, in the Dominican Republic.
I had a wonderful time and my son absolutely loved it!
The Gran Ventana offers a distinctive blend of sophisticated design
with the charm and hospitality of the Dominican Republic.
It was an all inclusive stay!
Beaches, pools, shows, activities and so much more.
The resort's lobby extends with beamed ceilings, a huge cast iron chandelier and a
view of the ocean as its centerpiece.
The water was crystal clear, blue and just beautiful.
We loved it!

Add Glitter to Letters
Do you remember last year's little garland project?
Well today I decided to give my letter garland a makeover.
I was thinking of adding white or silver glitter, but since I had already painted the letters red,
I decided to go with red glitter instead.
It was simple, all I did was paint over the letters with mod podge...
Then I quickly added the glitter. You may use Elmer's glue.
Tip:Make sure to place newspaper under your working area
to avoid making a mess.
The kids will enjoy this one!

I don't use anything special on my skin to keep it clean or looking fresh
because I have very sensitive skin. The only product that I use daily is a moisturizer.
When I was approached by Sibu Beauty to try their product, I was a bit hesitant.
I visited their website to find out what they're all about and the products that they offer.
Their products are natural, paraben-free and cruelty-free,
and contains NO dairy, yeast, wheat, gluten, sodium or preservatives.
I was impressed by the information they provided, so I decided to give it a try,
after all I'm pushing a high number in age and my skin needs protection and care.
I have been using this product for a week now and compared to my previous moisturizer, I love it!
I love that it's NOT greasy!
It dries fast and it doesn't feel heavy on my skin like other creams.
It does have a citrus scent to it,
but I personally don't mind it because it fades after a while.
I have noticed somewhat of a difference on my skin,
the texture is slightly better and brighter.
Could it be that it works? I've been applying it for only a week.
At the moment, I am very happy with the current results.
I don't have acne breakouts, no redness and no sensitivity on my skin.
This cream proves to be ideal for my skin.
I'll have to continue applying it for another few weeks to see a real improvement.

Over all, I do like this cream and I have to say I love what the company offers
because they also provide vitamins and a puree to improve your skin from the inside out.

Deck the Halls with Handmade Goodies
This year I will be decorating my home with some old Christmas decorations from the past
and a few handmade pieces of my own. I have looked around my home for items that I can use
to make my own hand crafted decor. This is a good way to save for the Holidays.
I hung on my back door a wreath made out of pages of an old book that my father-in-law
purchased in a second hand store a year ago.

We also gathered items from the outdoors, like pine cones, branches and berries.

I took a couple of recycled jars and I wrapped them in scrapbook paper
and ribbon to hold festive candy canes.
You all know this one. It's my felt ornament! I added some glitter to add sparkle.
It's hard to see the glitter on here, but it looks like snow balls on my tree. I love it!

At our home our focus during Christmas is the birth
of Jesus Christ. I add little reminders around the house such as nativity sets,
and words written on our chalkboard, after all he is the greatest gift.
